in vintage Danish modern furniture is having a warehouse sale this weekend. Small urban apartments and Scandanavian design often go well together -- there's a warmth and practicality to take the edge off the minimalism. We hear of dining room tables starting at $1,000, but have no first hand experience with these folks. So, if you go, send word....

I've searched around for what seems like forever to find the perfect sofa for my Brooklyn apartment. Whatever money I make goes into my contemporary art collection, which is small but kind of impressive, so my furniture has to compliment the color and clean lines of what I have on my walls. I knew what I wanted, but I didn't have the budget for a Le Corbusier sofa. Baxter & Liebchen had just what I needed (a vintage modern black leather sofa, and he even threw in the matching chair!) for my budget and delivered that week. Everyone should visit their warehouse, open every weekend, or at least go to the website!
