Superlatives fail to capture the city. It's that time again. New York magazine's annual Best of New York is on newstands today. Inside are a thousand good picks, but if you are obessed with the home (like us) you will find the pickings somewhat slim. Drinks rank higher on their scale than the glasses they come in. Nevertheless, we will be picking through and posting their best finds, and adding to them in the weeks and months to come. Next January, look for our annual "Best of..." list. MGR
