Just as everyone else is starting to look at their summer glass as half-empty, Outdoor Furniture Sales are full on. This is the time to get around to replacing that umbrella out back.
As always with the “Big 3”, Crate and Barrel leaves us least impressed, with their skimpy sale always drawing attention to the higher price for basically the same thing as Pottery Barn, which always looks cheapest when you pay retail, but the true bargains make us less worried about the lesser quality.
Restoration Hardware always comes out on top. Their stuff looks top notch and the sale price just makes things look that much better. AH
Insider tip:The market umbrellas are at a great price and will be all gone in the next few weeks. Stores wont order more until next year, so if you need it, do it.
